J. Adrian Betancourt (that handsome devil above) is the pen name and alter ego for Javier Adrian Betancourt, urban planner by "day," and author, publisher, & podcaster by "night."  A follower and novice practitioner of Taoism, he aspires to bring balance, harmony and a positive "go with the flow" attitude to his and others' lives.  J. Adrian lives in Miami where he enjoys boating, scuba diving, crabbing, and music in all its forms.  He loves travel, adventure and the never-ending exploration of all life has to offer.  He is blessed to be joind in that life by his kind, beautiful and ever-patient wife, Tiffany, and his loving, brilliant and hilarious teenage daughters, Charley and Kayla.  Oh, and Boomer the cat... can't forget about the cat.

Three Treasures Press is a [very] small business founded by Javier to publish, produce and promote J. Adrian's collective works, including his books, articles, podcast, newsletter, and other crazy schemes.  The scrappy enterprise is further supported by his wife (accounting + reality-checks) and children (digital design + emotional support).  The name derives from a three-part combination of: (1) the Taosit concept of the "three treasures" (Jing + Qi + Shen); (2) the three-part series of his planned multi-volume saga (Maya Lin & The Ancient Order of Seshat); and (3) the three treasures of his incredibly lucky life (Tiffany + Charley + Kayla).  The enterprise is not currently hiring, but accepts all sincere offers of free labor, positive vibes and bourbon.
