The Book

An enticing blend of up-market science fiction and action-adventure thriller, the arQitect is the foundational novel in the Maya Lin & The Ancient Order of Seshat saga, an ambitious three-part, nine-volume series that blends metaphysical philosophy, ancient wisdom traditions, and cutting-edge technology into fast-paced, thought-provoking adventure stories. Drawing inspiration from Taosim, the martial arts, artifical intelligence, and the hidden architectures that shape both cities and consciousness, the ambitious series explores the dynamic tension between the spiritual, political and technological. 

The inaugural book follows Maya Lin -- a young, endearing historian of mixed Chinese and Latina heritage -- and her circle of colorful comrades, as they work with an ancient secret society to defeat dark forces intent on world domination through the coercive use of AI.

the arQitect is currently in production, with a set release date of September 22, 2026 -- in alignment with the Autumnal Equinox (but of course) -- and a scheduled book launch at the venerable Books & Books in Coral Gables, FL.
